Texting
Text alerts for the businesses we serve.
Agents and teams on Rocalyn Edge can choose to get a text when their assistant finishes a call. Here is how they turn it on, what the texts say, and how to stop them.
How a subscriber turns alerts on
On the last step of signing up, next to the Terms, there is a separate box for text alerts. It is optional and starts unchecked. The same sentence appears later under Settings, Notifications, where alerts can be turned on or off at any time. This is the box, exactly as it appears:
What the texts say
When the assistant finishes a call, the subscriber gets one text, with the caller’s name when we have it and a link to that call in their portal. Every alert has its own link, so each text opens the call it is about, after the subscriber signs in. The texts come from a Rocalyn Edge number. Here is an example; the caller is fictional.
Subscribers may also get notices about their account and the service, and, when they text us, replies from the Rocalyn Edge support team.
The short version
- Optional, and off until you turn it on. The box starts unchecked. Signing up works the same either way, and without text alerts everything stays in your portal.
- Only to your own phone. Alerts go to the personal mobile number you give us, never to your callers or anyone else.
- Account messages, not marketing. Call alerts and notices about your account and the service. Nothing promotional.
- Every choice is recorded. When you turn alerts on or off, we keep the date, the time and the wording of the box.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any alert, or uncheck the box under Settings, Notifications. Either one ends text alerts right away, and nothing queues up while they are off. To turn them back on, reply START if you replied STOP, or check the box again if you unchecked it.

Every kind of text Rocalyn Edge sends is on one page, and the full messaging terms are in Section 11 of our Terms of Service.
